Lets try and put as little restrictions in as possible, thats the job of the OP for the roleplay.

Some area's may have no technology or little technology or maybe no magic but that sholdn't stop you from doing magic or using technology.

I agree too an extent-- if someone whose a wizard from "fantasy land" hops right into the underwater city and uses his "magic" to suck out all the water and kill all his enemies or whatever. Game over there. See the problem? Some things don't belong in places.

No multiple themes = No multiple audiences

The point of multi-theme is to attract EVERYONE.

there has to be a way to make a theme that has everything. But if you want to seperate players in a project thats supposed to be large and diverse it defeats the purpose

We're not separating anyone, Gray.

We're not using different planets.

Everyone will be on the SAME planet.

It's like Earth, with countries. Just for a moment imagine...The USA representing Fantasy, and uh...Canada representing Steampunk. It's like that! People can travel from country to country so theres no reason why people shouldn't be able to travel from genre to genre in this PW.

Maybe instead of making and official statement about it rule wise, it should just be observed and see how the mixing of worlds turns out. Just watch it on an individual basis intervening as needed. A good roleplayer could roll with it, and it would be easy to fall back on generally accepted RP rules ...no godmodding, power plays etc. Such a move would be considered a power play.

Diverse separate sections yes, but the freedom to move about, not at the expense of good rp etiquette.

I apologize if I seem rude here but you just didn't seem to get the point I was picking at.
